Never had a chance to learn Russian Grammar and therefore I have absolutely no idea what a Grammaticheskaya Osnova is. same goes about сложносочинённое предложение and сложноподчинённое предложение. I am happily ignorant of those things and hope to never have to learn them. Same goes about any language I know or will possibly learn in the future. I have happily forgotten how to recognize the Present Perfect Progressive tense and what are the rules of using it. I just use it when necessary, I believe. Same goes about Pi'el, Pu'al and Hit'Pael what-you-call-them[?] in Hebrew.
I just hope my Russian, English and Hebrew are good enough without having to worry about those things.

All in all i tend to agree with my sister about this.
