В ТЖС очередная истерика по поводу этого. Мне лично пофиг - сообщество женское не потому, что там есть что-то, что мужчины хотят знать, а мы не хотим им рассказывать, а потому, что есть вещи, которые лучше обсуждать с женщинами - например, месячные. А если кто-то просверлил дырку в стене женской бани, подглядывает и глупо хихикает, что там голые целлюлитные жопы, то проблема не у посетительниц бани, а у того, кто подглядывает.

This sort of mass hysteria is stupid, actually. It could make sense if this was a private community. But whether a community is private or public depends on one thing-- which is-- who can join. Now, I'm sorry, but on the internet "girls only" means anybody who states he's a girl or at best makes a convincing girl avatar. Saying that a community is limited to girls only makes as much sense as saying that a pr0n website is only limited to adults because one has to click the "I agree that I'm over 18" button on the entrance-- yeah, right. The community maintainers may believe otherwise, but the community is public and thus I fail to see the problem with quoting and making fun of stuff which seems such to the author.

For joining girls_only you need a member of girls_only to tell the maintainer that she knows you personally and you are female.
